LATEST NEWS:

Another show for 2011:

After the huge success of Murdered to Death we have decided to produce another hilarious play by Peter Gordon, Death by Fatal Murder, featuring the return of the bumbling Inspector Pratt attempting to solve murders but instead bringing about chaos.

This will be staged again at Hamilton Uniting Church Hall, 150 Beaumont St Hamilton over the first two weekends of December.  This would make a great pre Christmas function, or an evening of hilarious frivolity with friends.

Full session details to follow soon.

2011 show:

Newcastle Gilbert & Sullivan players will be producing Murdered to Death  a comedy by Peter Gordon, at Hamilton Uniting Church Hall, 150 Beaumont St Hamilton. Directed by Steve McLauchlan.

SYNOPSIS.
This send up, in the best of Agatha Christie traditions, is set in a country manor house in the 1930’s, and has an assembled cast of characters including Bunting the butler, an English Colonel with the prerequisite stiff upper lip, a shady French art dealer and his beautiful off sider, a bumbling police inspector and a well meaning local sleuth who attracts murder wherever she goes. They are all caught up in the hilarious antics which follow the murder of the owner of the house. It soon becomes clear the murderer isn’t finished yet, but will the murderer be discovered before everyone has met their doom?

Performance dates: June: Fridays 17th & 24th, Saturdays 18th & 25th (matinee and evening performances), Sundays 19th & 26th matinees.
